Ranch Outings

Two hours of engaged play at a private enclosed ranch,
available midday Monday through Friday, rain or shine.

Well rounded program suited to a wide range of dogs, including:

• Dogs that can benefit from more opportunities to socialize, release energy, and have appropriate behaviors encouraged and reinforced.
• Puppies learning appropriate social behavior and recall.
• High energy dogs that love to play fetch and chase and just need some friends and a secure, controlled play space.​
• Older dogs that may have trouble keeping up on hikes but can still benefit from social outdoor time enjoyed at their own pace.

Day Care

Up to eight hours of dog care, available between 9am and 6pm daily
(though some ​flexibility may be honored upon request), subject to availability and for dogs enrolled in regular ranch services only.

Private Walks & Visits

Private walks and visits for dogs and cats can be tailored to your pet’s specific needs and may include feedings, water refills, and other support.
​Offered for 15 minute, 30 minute, or 1 hour periods,
mornings and afternoons daily, subject to limited availability.

• Extra care when your dog isn’t able to join in on your day’s activities, including on weekends.
• Young puppies that aren’t yet fully vaccinated, neutered or spayed.
• Dogs that thrive with more individualized care.

Overnight Dog Boarding

24 hours of care in our private homes, with pick ups and drop offs offered mornings and afternoons from 9am to 6pm daily, subject to availability and offered as an exclusive benefit for dogs enrolled in regular services.

• ​Client provides feeding instructions and meals. We're also happy to pick up any other items such as favorite toys, blankets, beds or crates that would help make the stay more comfortable.

Training
​

Training sessions with Raymond, our founder, are available as a benefit service for our regular clients only and geared toward teaching our communication methods to families and helping reinforce positive behaviors at home and elsewhere.

• Dogs expressing new behaviors, which may result from changes within family dynamics, environments, health, or other factors.

The Basics

​Outings, day care, walks, and boarding include pick ups from and drop offs to your home or other designated location within our service area, which currently covers most of Marin County, California. We are bonded, insured, and trained in Pet First Aid & CPR. Once enrolled, we encourage the dogs in our programs to build relationships with multiple members of our team to ensure that we can support all service needs. Enrollment in regular ranch outings also provides exclusive access to our benefit services, which include overnight boarding, training, and various options for weekend and extended care.

Enrollment Eligibility

Our programs are centered around consistent care to foster positive social development and long-term bonds within our groups. As such, all of our services, including overnight boarding, training, and other benefit services, are reserved for dogs committed to an average of at least two outings per week on a regular basis (though we’re flexible with periodic cancellations, additions, vacations, and evolving needs). When we are open for enrollment, we welcome dogs of all ages and breeds so long as vaccines and flea medications are current, they're neutered or spayed in accordance with vet recommendations, have had positive group care experience if over one year of age, and social skills are adequately suited to our program.

Meet & Greet

Prior to enrollment, we offer a complimentary initial meet & greet and consultation in your home to discuss your particular needs, offer tips, and work with you to evaluate an appropriate plan for care. You will be introduced to our leadership and are encouraged to ask questions and provide us with any necessary instructions. Our behavior assessment during this meeting also helps ensure that your dog(s) will be developmentally well suited for the program of choice.

Client Portal

Following the meet & greet and program enrollment, all clients are provided access to several convenient features through a personal online portal, including requesting and cancelling services, reviewing schedules, invoices, and payment history, and updating our records for you and your pet(s).

Scheduling Policies

We understand that life can bring the unexpected and are compassionate toward changing needs and circumstances beyond your control. We do our very best to support all service requests for our regular clients, though timely notice is always appreciated. A $10 day-of surcharge applies to services requested and confirmed the day of service, and to same-day change of location requests. If pick up and drop off are requested in different areas, a $15 surcharge applies. Under our exceptionally flexible cancellation policy, you will not be charged if your request to cancel is sent before close of business (7pm) the day before a scheduled service. We are also deeply sympathetic toward a pet's sudden injury or illness, so we have instituted a no insult to injury policy, under which no charge is applied so long as we are informed of the need to cancel as soon as possible before our arrival.

Weekend & Holiday Services

While ranch outings are not provided on weekends or observed holidays, we do offer private walks and visits, day care, and overnight boarding on such days, subject to availability and reserved as a benefit service for our regular clients. A $30 surcharge applies to all weekend and holiday boarding pick ups and drop offs, holiday boarding, walks, visits, and day care. For boarding involving a pick up or drop off on a holiday, the two $30 holiday boarding and holiday pick up/drop off surcharges are combined for a total of $60. Our observed holidays are New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day​. Weekend and holiday activities vary and can be tailored by need but always involve uniquely personal attention and opportunities to deepen bonds between our dogs and team.
